This is an opportunity for residents along Bear Island River Road and it’s spur roads to reduce the risk of wildfire to your homes by implementing wildfire prevention strategies.

You cut and stack along roadway/driveway and we haul away at no cost to you. Please keep track of your hours worked on the volunteer hours form on the back of this flyer. This is the in- kind match for the grant requirements. This includes watching the video.
Event Details
When: Stacked piles need to be in place by Sunday Sept. 11.
Where: The operator will began haul away on Monday Sept 12.
Please do NOT add to piles after this date.
